Powerball ticket sold in Phoenix hits for $50K in Wednesday’s drawing

PHOENIX — If you’ve recently purchased a Powerball ticket, then you’ll want to check those numbers.

A ticket worth $50,000 was sold Wednesday at Superpumper located at Cave Creek Road and Rose Garden Lane in Phoenix.

The numbers were 31, 32, 37, 38 and 48, with a Powerball of 24.

The lucky winner matched four out of the five numbers, and the Powerball number.

Nobody matched all five numbers plus the Powerball, bumping Saturday’s jackpot to an estimated $181 million.

The odds of winning $50,000 in the game are 1 in 913,129.

The Powerball jackpot has been hit two times this in 2022, most recently for $183 million on Feb. 14.

Before then, two tickets – one from Wisconsin and the other from California — split a whopping $630 million jackpot on Jan. 5.

A Phoenix player matched five numbers but missed the Powerball in the same drawing, good for $1 million.
