$50,000 Powerball ticket purchased at Phoenix gas station
One lucky Arizona Lottery player bought a ticket that won a $50,000 jackpot in Sunday's drawing. The ticket was sold at a Phoenix QuikTrip.

PHOENIX — One Arizona Powerball player became $50,000 richer on Saturday after buying a winning ticket in Phoenix, according to lottery officials.
The lucky Powerball ticket was sold at the QuikTrip near Indian School Road and 32nd Street.
The winning numbers drawn on Saturday were 6, 18, 34, 35 and 36 with a Powerball number of 2.
The odds of winning a $50,000 prize are 1 in 913,129.

The estimated jackpot for the next Powerball drawing on Monday is a cool $426 million.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night. Tickets cost $2 and can be purchased at over 3,000 stores around Arizona.
The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.
To win $50,000, a Powerball player must match four numbers and the Powerball.
In June, two Arizona Lottery players split a jackpot from The Pick worth $868,000.
