Police searching for suspect after man dies of gunshot wound in Phoenix

The Phoenix Police Department is looking for a suspect after a man died from a gunshot wound Sunday morning, authorities said.

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is looking for a suspect after a man died from a gunshot wound Sunday morning, authorities said.

Police responded to the area near 35th Avenue and Osborn Road around 4 a.m. about a reported shooting.

A 30-40-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was found with a life-threatening gunshot injury, and was transported a nearby hospital by Phoenix Fire where he was later pronounced dead, according to police.

Police have no viable suspect description and limited information, according to a press release.
