Police searching for 2 suspects after man shot, killed in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Police are searching for two suspects accused of killing a man in the Phoenix area on Saturday evening.

Around 6:04 p.m., a 35-year-old man was found shot near 1900 W. Maricopa Street, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Witnesses told police they saw a man and woman running away from the area and a dark-colored sedan “driving suspiciously.”

Police have asked for help finding the suspects from the public.
