2 police officers injured after collision in Phoenix

A Monday afternoon crash left two Phoenix police officers injured. Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the collision, according to authorities.

PHOENIX — A Monday afternoon crash left two Phoenix police officers injured, authorities said.

The crash took place around 4 p.m. near 41st and Southern avenues, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Both police officers, as well as the man driving the other vehicle involved in the crash, were brought to the hospital by the Phoenix Fire Department.

All three have non-life-threatening injuries.

Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash.

So, the cops made it through the crash okay, but then they were injured afterwards?!
