Police look for suspect in Mesa smoke shop slaying

MESA, Ariz. — Police are looking for a suspect in the killing of a woman
inside a Mesa smoke shop.

KTVK-TV reported authorities believe a woman found dead
Sunday night behind the counter at Cigarettes 4 Less was the victim of a
robbery.

She was found by a customer at the shop at Greenfield Road and Mesa Street.

Authorities said the woman’s body showed signs of trauma.

Police have not released the woman’s identity or any information about a
suspect.
