Police investigate homicide that leaves 1 man dead in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a homicide that found a man who had not been seen or heard from in several days dead on Friday.

Officers responded to the area of 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 9 p.m. about a shooting, Phoenix police said in a press release.

Police located the victim’s residence and found him deceased with obvious signs of trauma.
