Police investigate fatal 2-vehicle collision in Mesa

PHOENIX — A two-vehicle collision left one person dead in Mesa on Monday.

Mesa Fire & Medical crews responded to the collision at Alma School Road and Bass Pro Drive in north Mesa, authorities said.

Two subjects were involved, one of whom was killed during the crash and did not get transported to a hospital, authorities said.

The other suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Mesa police are conducting an investigation into the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
