Small plane crashes near Chandler Municipal Airport with 1 on board

A small plane crashed near Chandler Municipal Airport on Tuesday night.

ABC15 reported that the plane went down near Queen Creek and McQueen roads around 7:50 p.m.

Chandler Fire officials said at least one person was on board the plane when it crashed.

Their condition is not currently known.
