1 adult injured, 1 teen dead following shooting in Phoenix
Police are investigating a shooting that left one male teenager dead, and a woman injured in Phoenix on Tuesday night, authorities said.

PHOENIX — Police are investigating a shooting that left one male teenager dead, and a woman injured in Phoenix on Tuesday night, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
At 8 p.m., police responded to the area of 35th Avenue and Baseline Road. Upon arrival, officers found 17-year-old Daron Jackson with a gunshot wound in a parking lot.
Jackson was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died on April 12, authorities said.

Authorities said police then received information of a woman with a “non-life-threatening” gunshot wound at a nearby hospital. Police located the woman who said she was there at the time of the shooting.
She was treated for her injuries and was later released from the hospital.
No other information was made available.
