Phoenix police officer hospitalized after multivehicle collision
An officer with the Phoenix Police Department was injured in a multivehicle collision on Thursday night, authorities said.

PHOENIX — An officer with the Phoenix Police Department was injured in a multivehicle collision on Thursday night, authorities said.
The officer was driving a patrol car to respond to a call when the collision with two other vehicles occurred near Seventh Street and Indian School Road shortly before 10 p.m., police said.
The officer and a man driving another vehicle were taken to a hospital for injuries police said were not life-threatening.

Police did not release any details about what caused the crash.
