Phoenix police officer hospitalized after multivehicle collision
An officer with the Phoenix Police Department was injured in a multivehicle collision on Thursday night, authorities said.

PHOENIX — An officer with the Phoenix Police Department was injured in a multivehicle collision on Thursday night, authorities said.
The officer was driving a patrol car to respond to a call when the collision with two other vehicles occurred near Seventh Street and Indian School Road shortly before 10 p.m., police said.
The officer and a man driving another vehicle were taken to a hospital for injuries police said were not life-threatening.

Police did not release any details about what caused the crash.

Where do I place my bet that the other drivers just kept on driving rather than pulling to the right and stopping when they saw the lights or heard sirens as required by law.
