Phoenix police search for suspect in south Phoenix homicide

A 34-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday night in south Phoenix, police said.

PHOENIX — A 34-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday night in south Phoenix, police said.

Kevin Toole II was found with at least one gunshot wound near 15th Lane and Southern Avenue, according to the Phoenix Police Department. Toole II was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives are investigating. No suspect information has been released.

“Additional details related to this incident remain part of the ongoing investigation,” Phoenix police Sgt. Robert Scherer said.

A reward is available for information leading to an arrest.
