Pedestrian dies after collision with light rail train in Phoenix
A collision between a pedestrian and the Phoenix light rail on Sunday night was fatal, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

PHOENIX — A man is dead after a collision involving the light rail in Phoenix on Sunday night, authorities said.
Officers with the Phoenix Police Department responded to the area near 19th and Missouri avenues, just south of Bethany Home Road, around 9:15 p.m.
They found an adult male pedestrian seriously injured. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported from that collision.

If only there were a way to let pedestrians know which route the train was going to be travelling, like with markings on the ground, or maybe even a set of tracks embedded into the asphalt
