Investigation into fatal shooting at Phoenix house party continues

An investigation is underway after a person was shot to death at a Phoenix house party Thursday morning, authorities said.
Officers responded to a shooting call at a home near 28th Street and Cannon Drive, just south of Shea Boulevard, about 6 a.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
They found a man who was in extremely critical condition. The victim was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital.
On Friday, police identified the victim as 19-year-old Jervarious Tyler.
Several people were detained inside the home during the initial police response, but no arrests were made.
According to 12News, the shooting occurred at a short-term rental property.
