An investigation is underway after a man was shot at a Phoenix hotel early Thursday, authorities said.
The victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries and two adults were detained after the incident, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Officers responded to a hotel near Interstate 17 and Thomas Road about 2:15 a.m. and found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
They learned that the shooting might have taken place in one of the hotel rooms. They detained one person found near the room before entering it and detaining another individual.
No other details about the ongoing investigation have been released.
