Man shot, killed by unknown suspect in Phoenix home invasion, police say
An unknown suspect in a home invasion killed a man early Saturday morning in Phoenix, authorities said.

An unknown suspect in a home invasion killed a man early Saturday morning in Phoenix, authorities said.
Officers responded shortly before 4 a.m. to calls of a shooting near 36th and Sheridan streets and found the suspect had forced entry into the home, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The man who had been shot, 51-year-old Daniel Saiz, was pronounced dead upon the arrival of fire personnel.
The suspect left the area before officers were able to arrive.
Homicide detectives took over the investigation, police said.
