Police seek public’s help identifying suspects in fatal hit-and-run in west Phoenix

A man died in a west Phoenix hit-and-run incident on Saturday night, and authorities are asking for the public's help identifying suspects.

PHOENIX — A man died in a west Phoenix hit-and-run incident on Saturday night, and authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects involved.

Officers responded to the area of 35th and Dunlap avenues around 8 p.m. on Saturday, where they found the unidentified man with “critical injuries.”

The man received assistance from the Phoenix Fire Department before he was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Detectives who took on the case learned the man was walking through a crosswalk across 35th Avenue when he “unexpectedly fell to the ground,” according to authorities. Multiple vehicles struck him as he lied in the northbound lanes of traffic.

Police asked anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480-948-6377 or 480-837-8446 for Spanish speakers. Information leading to an arrest may be rewarded with $2,000.
