Phoenix coach accused of soliciting 15-year-old girl for sex

PHOENIX — A Phoenix man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly exchanging explicit images with a 15-year-old girl he coached in swimming and soliciting her for sex.

According to court documents, the victim’s mother contacted police in late July when she found inappropriate messages from Isaak Corrales, 23, on her daughter’s phone.

The victim told police she met Corrales when she was on a summer swim team that he coached.

Police said Corrales admitted to sending the girl explicit photos and videos and soliciting her for sex, beginning in October 2018 when she was 14.

He also allegedly told the victim he wanted to have children with her when she turned 18.

Corrales was arrested at his home on three counts of luring a minor for sexual exploitation.

He is being held on $10,000 bond and will appear in court Aug. 13.
