Phoenix boys missing from home over a day found safe

PHOENIX – Police in Phoenix said two young brothers who were missing for more than a day have been found safe.

“The boys have been located safe. Thank you all for the help,” the department tweeted Monday just before 9 a.m.

Danny Vargas, 13, and Noah Vargas, 11, left their home on foot near 21st Street and Roeser Road on Saturday around 1 p.m.

By Sunday evening, police began asking for help from the public in locating the boys.
