PHOENIX — The calendar reads mid-October, but the weather in the Valley has taken another heated turn toward triple digits.

The forecasted high was 99 degrees, but if it does hit 100 degrees Monday, though, it won’t be the latest date that has happened in metro Phoenix.

That happened last year when area reached the century mark Oct. 27, according to the National Weather Service’s Phoenix bureau.

Mark O’Malley with the weather service said typically it was rare to reach 100 degrees here this time of year. The morning low was 69 degrees.

“There’s also a possibility we could be seeing 100 degrees again early next week. We’re in a pattern where it’s going to stay warm in the Valley,” he said.

It also continues to be bone dry.

Phoenix Sky Harbor hasn’t had rainfall since August 23rd and there was no rain on the horizon.

“For the entire state of Arizona it’s been extremely dry for the past few weeks,” O’Malley said.

“At Sky Harbor we’re at 4.73 inches of rain for the year. We’re usually at 6.21 (inches) by now. We’re in the dry season now but maybe we can make some of it up in November and December.”

Good training + Good cops + bad circumstances = tragedy.

Being unarmed doesn't give you a free pass to attack the police.
And if you resist arrest, the police can and should use force to detain you, even though that puts you at risk of death if you're in lousy shape to begin with.

No justice! Those that are sworn to "Protect & Serve" are killing unarmed citizens at an alarming rate!!
Poor training+Poor cops=Injustice
