Person left with serious injuries after single-vehicle crash in Scottsdale

A person was seriously injured after a crash in Scottsdale early Sunday morning, authorities said.

Officers were called to the area of Drinkwater Boulevard and Osborn Road for a single-vehicle collision around 2:40 a.m., according to the Scottsdale Police Department.

The individual was left with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities did not immediately identify the person or say what led to the crash.

Drinkwater Boulevard was closed at Scottsdale Road past Civic Center Plaza while police were investigating, but has since reopened.
