Construction begins on Peoria’s 1st Caldwell County BBQ

PHOENIX — Construction began this week on the first Caldwell County BBQ restaurant in Peoria, according to a Friday announcement.

The new Caldwell County BBQ location, located near Washington and and Jefferson streets, will mark the first restaurant to open in the West Valley. Caldwell County BBQ has two other locations in Queen Creek and Gilbert.

The new location is expected to open in 2026, according to the announcement.

What can guests expect from the Peoria Caldwell County BBQ location?

Caldwell County BBQ offers a menu that features several barbecue options, including sliced brisket, pulled pork and ribs.

The menu features several side dish options, including coleslaw, baked potatoes, beans, BBQ salad and macaroni and cheese. Dessert options include banana pudding, pecan pie and cookies.
