Peoria police locate missing 13-year-old boy after asking public for help

PHOENIX — Peoria police located Levi Fugitt, a 13-year-old boy who went missing Friday afternoon.

Authorities had asked the public’s assistance in finding the teenager.

He was last seen near 67th Avenue and Cactus Road when he did not get on the bus after the school day.

Officers had been looking for the boy but were unsuccessful in locating him until Sunday morning.

Police said that Fugitt is safe.
