A Peoria foster parent is accused of having sexual contact with children in his care.

PHOENIX — A Peoria foster parent is accused of having sexual contact with children in his care, authorities announced Tuesday.
Luis Antonio Gonzalez, 63, was charged with eight counts of assault, indecency and sexual conduct, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office (MCAO).
Details on accusations against Peoria foster parent
One of the victims said he was abused three years ago while he lived in Gonzalez’s home, according to prosecutors.
Additionally, two other foster children accused Gonzalez of similar abuse.
After an investigation by the Peoria Police Department, a grand jury indicted Gonzalez earlier this month on the following charges:
- One count of public sexual indecency to a minor.
- Two counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
- Two counts of aggravated assault.
- Three counts of molestation of a child.
The defendant’s bond was set $150,000. He must pay 10% of the amount to be released ahead of his trial.
