9 hospitalized after 2-vehicle collision in northwest Valley

Nine people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in Peoria on Sunday night, authorities said.

PHOENIX – Nine people were hospitalized after a collision in the northwest Valley on Sunday night, authorities said.

The two-vehicle crash occurred near 91st Avenue and Happy Valley Road, according to the Peoria Police Department.

Two of the hospitalized individuals sustained serious injuries, police said.

Eastbound Happy Valley Road was closed at 91st Avenue while the scene was under investigation.
