Peoria set to open 2-story restaurant, nightclub in early 2025

PHOENIX — A two-story restaurant and nightclub establishment will liven up the West Valley in early 2025, according to a press release on Monday.

Tavern Park, a 13,000-square foot entertainment spot, is set to open in the P83 district of Peoria under the same ownership group as north Phoenix’s Lookout Tavern.

The dual-purpose project will be located off of north Loop 101 and 83rd Avenue, adjacent to Peoria Sports Complex. Tavern Park will take over the land occupied by a virtual shooting lounge, Modern Round, from 2016-2021.

The first floor of Tavern Park will house a sports bar and Vegas-style sports book that boasts a 125-foot wraparound television screen and both traditional and private dining areas.

Night life will be the focal point of the second floor, which is headlined by the Perch Audio Lounge. The elevated space will be equipped with Void Acoustics products to create the best possible listening experience, whether a DJ or other live entertainment takes the stage.

“We wanted to create an immersive destination where sports fans, casual diners and nightlife enthusiasts alike can come together,” Tavern Park owner Kevin Stout said in the release.

A double-decker, climate-controlled indoor park, which is accessible from both floors, will be a pet-friendly space complete with greenery and other premium décor. The park’s surrounding walls can be cracked open during the cooler months of the year so occupants can enjoy the Arizona desert in its finest hours.

Guests can also access a rooftop deck from the second floor, in which they can drink cocktails or eat food while gazing out on the West Valley sky lights. There will be private VIP-level spaces for guests to pair a cigar with a drink of their choice.

“Whether you’re catching the big game on our massive LED wall, enjoying the fresh air in our indoor park, or experiencing the high-energy atmosphere of our nightlife and Perch Audio Lounge, we’re offering something for everyone—all in one extraordinary space,” Stout said.

Guests can select foods from just about every corner of the culinary palate on the Tavern Park menu, from steaks and seafood to pasta dishes and pot pies.

Those coming for the drinks can expect everything from molecular craft cocktails to local beers and wines.

Stout, a entrepreneur who opened Lookout Tavern in 2017, said he believes his latest project will be “unlike anything else in the Valley.”
