A pedestrian died after a vehicle hit her on a West Valley street Friday night, authorities said.

PHOENIX – A pedestrian died after a vehicle hit her on a West Valley street Friday night, authorities said.
The woman was struck near the intersection of 51st Avenue and Van Buren Street around 6:30 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The woman’s identify has not be released. She died of her injuries Friday night after being taken to a hospital, police announced.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Impairment is not suspected to be a factor, police said.
Detectives believe the woman was crossing Van Buren Street, just east of the intersection, when the vehicle headed eastbound struck her.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Oh?? That's news to me! Maybe if we're able to put a stop to the Fentanyl this won't happen so frequently. Fentanyl makes a person take off their clothes and walk into traffic. Ask any Uber or Lyft driver. I see them often but in NO time, ever, does anyone find hitting with a car "acceptable". I would like to know how you come to this conclusion?
