PHOENIX — Those heading to Las Vegas from Arizona on Sunday had to find a different way to get there.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said Sunday that U.S. 93 North — the primary road between Sin City and Phoenix — was closed after a crash.

The closure lasted for hours. The lanes finally reopened early Monday.

The tanker crash was about two miles north of Wickenburg.

Traffic was detoured onto Vulture Mine Road.

Delays were also to be expected on the U.S. 60 near Wickenburg.

Southbound lanes were unaffected.
