Tempe’s Park After Dark summer event series begins Saturday

PHOENIX — Downtown Tempe’s Park After Dark series gets underway Saturday evening with the first of eight scheduled dates this summer.

The community festival will include live music, outdoor games and entertainment plus beer and wine for sale in Sixth Street Park near Sixth Street and Mill Avenue, according to the event website.

The festivities are set for the second and fourth Saturdays of June, July, August and September from 7-10 p.m.

Here is the list of dates:

• June 25
• July 9
• July 23
• August 13
• August 27
• September 10
• September 24

The events are free to attend and welcome to people of all ages looking for fun activities outdoors as the sun sets and temperatures start to cool.

A list of musicians and entertainment options will be posted online.
