Multimillion-dollar Paradise Valley home goes up in flames

PHOENIX – A multimillion-dollar Paradise Valley home went up in flames on Wednesday evening, authorities said.

Crews from Phoenix and Scottsdale responded to the fire at a two-story house on the 7700 block of N. Foothills Drive around 6:30 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The structure was engulfed in flames and smoke when they arrived. The dark smoke could be seen for miles around the area.

Firefighters worked to prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding brush and homes and had the situation under control within an hour.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

According to Realtor.com, the 4,676-square-foot house last sold in 2021 for $1.9 million and is currently valued at approximately $3 million.

It is located in Arizona’s most expensive ZIP code, where homes often sell for $10 million or more.
