One man taken to hospital with gunshot wound in Glendale

PHOENIX — One man was shot and taken to a nearby hospital on Sunday afternoon in Glendale, according to police.

The 32-year-old man was said to have suffered life-threatening injuries after police say he was shot in the chest.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Butler Drive and 67th Avenue.

Police said that an investigation was on going.

They said suspect had fled the scene prior to police arrival.
