Northbound lanes of Loop 101 in Scottsdale reopen after ‘law enforcement situation’

Northbound Loop 101 in Scottsdale was fully reopened Monday morning after a "law-enforcement situation," forced closure of all lanes the previous night, according to transportation officials.

PHOENIX — Northbound Loop 101 in Scottsdale was fully reopened Monday morning after a “law-enforcement situation” forced closure of all lanes the previous night, according to transportation officials.

The freeway was closed between Cactus Road and Raintree Drive before 8 p.m. Sunday with all traffic exiting at Cactus Road, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

Lanes were partially reopened around 10 p.m. and fully opened Monday around 5:30 a.m.

The southbound lanes were not affected.
