No officers injured in shooting at Queen Creek shopping center

PHOENIX – No officers were injured after a shooting took place in Queen Creek Friday evening.

Around 5 p.m., police responded to the Queen Creek Marketplace near Rittenhouse Road and Ellsworth Loop.

Multiple agencies were on scene including Goodyear Police, Maricopa County Sheriff’s office and the Department of Public Safety.

MCSO said Goodyear Police were following up on a current ongoing investigation out of their city.

There were no other details immediately available. MCSO will handle the investigation.

This is the third officer-involved shooting in the Valley this year.
