Nitro Circus daredevils pull off ‘Dinner for 6’ skydiving stunt in Arizona

Daredevils with Nitro Circus sat at a fully set dinner table while freefalling 13,000 feet in Arizona last week in the sports entertainment company’s latest stunt.

On July 2, six skydiving athletes sat at table that consisted of wine glasses, silverware, plated steak dinner and a white tablecloth before being rolled out the back of a Skydive Arizona airplane above Eloy. They dined together at the table while freefalling for 40 seconds before deploying their parachutes.

The group was led by Steve and Sarah Curtis, who are world-renowned skydivers and both hold national open competition medals. The duo are also both coaches as well as accelerate freefall and tandem instructors that hold PRO ratings.

The stunt was called “Dinner for 6” and done in partnership with Arizona Arsenal, which is a professional skydiving military training company.

“At Nitro Circus, we’re constantly challenging ourselves to dream bigger and create moments that have never been seen before,” Thrill Sports Chief Marketing Officer Tal Cooperman said in a news release.
