PHOENIX – Newcomer Breeze Airways is adding four destinations to its upcoming schedule out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The low-cost start-up announced Wednesday that nonstop service is coming in February from Phoenix to Hartford in Connecticut, Richmond in Virginia and Bentonville-Fayetteville in Arkansas plus one-stop flights with no plane change to New Orleans.

“Hartford, Richmond and Bentonville-Fayetteville are all new routes for Sky Harbor, and we are excited to partner with Breeze to offer even more destinations to our customers and our community,” Chad Makovsky, Sky Harbor’s director of aviation services, said in a press release.

Each of the new routes will be offered twice weekly. Ticket and schedule information is available on the Breeze Airways website.

Earlier this year, Breeze announced it will arrive in Phoenix in November with service to Charleston in South Carolina and Provo in Utah.

“We’re so excited to begin service from Phoenix next month with flights to Charleston and Provo,” Tom Doxey, Breeze Airways president, said in the release. “These additional four routes to the Northeast and South will give our guests a lot more travel options.”

The new airline launched in May 2021 with 16 destinations, primarily in the eastern and southeastern United States.

Breeze’s planned footprint now stretches coast-to-coast and includes 33 cities in 19 states with the latest additions.
