The Chicago Cubs have sold the naming rights to their one-year-old spring training park to the longtime provider of their men’s urinal troughs at historic Wrigley Field.

Sloan Park will now be the name of the Cactus League park which has to date been known as Cubs Park in Mesa, Ariz, according to a Thursday report by The Chicago Tribune.

Sloan Valve’s sponsorship with the Cubs is the company’s first big foray into sports marketing and raises the profile of a family-owned business that is more synonymous with bathrooms than baseball. The company believes its connection with the team will elevate the company’s name among the public, which normally doesn’t pay attention to brand names in public bathrooms.

The Cubs intend to use Sloan products at the Mesa park.

“We are excited to have a major presence both in Chicago and Mesa to authentically convey the message of water sustainability,” Jim Allen, president of Sloan Valve, said in a statement obtained by The Chicago Tribune.

The cost of the sale was not disclosed by the Cubs.
