Man arrested after allegedly pressing his naked body against a woman in Scottsdale

PHOENIX – An arrest was made over the weekend after a naked man allegedly pressed his body against a woman in a Scottsdale neighborhood, authorities said.

Christopher Baker, 40, was booked into a Maricopa County jail on counts of sexual abuse – improper touch, possession of dangerous drugs, indecent exposure, public sexual indecency, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, according to the Scottsdale Police Department.

The victim called 911 after the incident, which occurred around 11 a.m. Saturday near 100th Street and Cactus Road.

What did victim say about incident with naked man?

She said she was walking when a naked man ran up behind her and pressed himself against her. When the victim turned around, the man got into a vehicle.

The victim took a photo of the vehicle, including the license plate, after the man drove up next to her, still nude. After the suspect fled the scene, the woman called police to report the crime.

The Scottsdale Police Department Real Time Crime Center received an alert on the location of the vehicle through its license plate and notified officers in the area.

Officers found the vehicle in the parking lot of the Scottsdale Ranch Park Tennis Court, near Via Linda and 104th Street, and took Baker, who was clothed at the time, into custody.
