PHOENIX — A nail spill on a suburban Phoenix freeway shut down a lane during the morning commuter rush Thursday.
Drivers heading west on Loop 202 had to get around a left-lane closure near Recker Road in Gilbert around 7:45 a.m.

There was no timetable for when the debris would be cleared.
