A motorcyclist was hospitalized after being hit in Tempe by a driver who was allegedly impaired early Sunday morning, authorities said.
The motorcyclist was struck by a car that was turning into an apartment complex near Scottsdale and Curry roads just after 1 a.m., according to the Tempe Police Department.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that authorities described as serious but non-life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI.
Police did not identify the driver or the motorcyclist.
