Motorcyclist dead after crash in north Phoenix
A motorcyclist has died following a crash in north Phoenix on Wednesday, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A motorcyclist has died following a crash in north Phoenix on Wednesday, authorities said.
At around 1:15 p.m., police responded to a crash near Cave Creek and Hearn roads, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Upon arrival, police found 58-year-old Remus Rizea lying on the road with injuries. He died at the scene due to his injuries.

Upon investigation, authorities said Rizea was riding on a three-wheeled motorcycle on private property when he lost control and collided with a raised curb. He was then thrown off the motorcycle and landed on Cave Creek Road.
The investigation remains ongoing. No other information was made available.
