1 adult found dead after early-morning mobile home fire in east Mesa

PHOENIX – A person was found dead Thursday morning after a mobile home fire in east Mesa, authorities said.

Crews responded to the scene near Main Street and Hawes Road around 5 a.m. and found a fully involved structure, according to Rural Metro Fire.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. However, an unidentified adult was found dead inside, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

The cause of the fire and the death remain under investigation. No other details were made available.
