Man in critical condition after getting rescued from burning mobile home in Buckeye

PHOENIX – A man was seriously injured in a mobile home fire in Buckeye early Tuesday, authorities said.

Crews responded to the fire at the Buena Vista Mobile Home Park, near Yuma and Apache roads, around 1:15 a.m., according to the Buckeye Fire Medical Rescue Department.

The Arizona Fire & Medical Authority and Avondale Fire & Medical joined Buckeye Fire at the scene, where they encountered a burning mobile home with a person reportedly still inside.

Firefighters searched the unit and were able to rescue a man from the home.

The patient was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Crews then quickly extinguished the blaze.

The cause of the mobile home fire is under investigation.
