Missing man from Mesa has been located

PHOENIX – A Mesa man that had been missing after wandering away from his residence was found Sunday evening.

According to Mesa Police, Ben Wamack, 47, had last been seen around 9 a.m. Sunday.

Police said his caretaker was concerned for his welfare because he suffers effects from a past traumatic brain injury and short-term memory loss.

Wamack is described as 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds with blonde, brown and gray hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, jeans, black shoes and sunglasses. He has a scruffy beard and walks with a limp.
