8-year-old girl who went missing in south Phoenix found safe

PHOENIX – An 8-year-old girl who went missing in south Phoenix on Monday evening has been located, authorities said.

The Phoenix Police Department announced just before 6 a.m. Tuesday that Lillian Siedel Arredondo was being reunited with her family.

Lillian has been found! She is safe and will be reunited with family. Thank you to the community for the help.

When she was reported missing by concerned family members, Arredondo had last been seen on foot near Broadway Road and Central Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

The girl was wearing a pink Mickey Mouse shirt, black shorts and purple shoes. She is described as 4 feet tall and 80 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Police issued a Missing Endangered Person Advisory overnight.

“Lillian has been found! She is safe and will be reunited with family. Thank you to the community for the help,” the Phoenix Police Department announced Tuesday morning on X.
