Mesa police investigating double-homicide after man, woman killed

PHOENX – Police in Mesa are investigating the shooting deaths of a man and a woman last week as a double-homicide, authorities said Monday.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. Friday at a home in a residential neighborhood near Alma School Road and Main Street, the Mesa Police Department said in a press release.

Police identified the victims as 32-year-old Mottio Paschal and 24-year-old Makinley Charnoski.

They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details were released.
