PHOENIX — The city of Mesa said Wednesday that residents west of Val Vista Road may find their tap water looking cloudy or milky, according to ABC15 Arizona.
But there’s no reason to worry — officials told ABC15 the cloudiness is due to air bubbles in the well water.
The water may look different, they said, because the city switched from surface water to well water while it performs routine maintenance on the system.
The city said the maintenance is planned to last through January.
Don't worry, it's just tiny bubbles! If you are west of Val Vista, your water may appear cloudy or milky due to air…

This isn’t the first time Mesa residents have reported cloudy water.
The city also switched the systems for maintenance last November. The well water’s bubbles created the same milky appearance.
