PHOENIX — Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies shot an armed man who confronted them early Wednesday at a home about 50 miles west of Phoenix.
Deputies were responding to an anonymous call reporting a possible homicide at a home near 339th Avenue and Buckeye Road in Tonopah. Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez said when deputies arrived around 1 a.m. an armed man met them near the door. They fired, hitting him.
The man made it back to the house, shut the door then barricaded himself inside.
After negotiations with a SWAT team, the man eventually gave up. He was taken to a hospital and was expected to recover. The unidentified man suffered the only injury.
No one else was found at the home.
Authorities were still investigating hours later.

Great job at clearing the record, O' Eloquent One.
Well seem there's always been a lot of flamboyant hyperbole and dumb azz shenanigans in the wind most of which those pesky mythical long suffering "latinos" brought to the party Frank, long before Joe got involved. Or have you forgotten all of that ;o )? All those flag burning marches using children as shields, to point out one particularly recurring repugnant tactic. jejeje ... but never any real issues just ... "issues" ;o )
So clear the record, Petey...
A platoon of police, a tank, and a cross-eyed pink belt were needed to apprehend Henny Penny and co.?
