Man wins $450K jackpot at Vee Quiva casino in Valley

PHOENIX — One spin of the wheel landed a man a hefty payout at a Valley casino on Friday.

Joseph M. won about $450,000 on a Wheel of Fortune jackpot at Vee Quiva in Laveen, according to a press release.

The Glendale man, who says he goes to the casino about three times a month, won on a $10 bet.

Joseph apparently won $1,800 on the Wheel of Fortune machine earlier in the day.

The nearly $500,000 jackpot in Laveen wasn’t the only metro Phoenix Gila River Hotels and Casinos location to recently hand out a large prize.

A man named Ed won a nearly $1.8 million jackpot on a Casino Royale slot machine at Wild Horse Pass on Feb. 27.
