Man hospitalized after shooting at west Phoenix house party, police looking for suspects

A 21-year-old man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a shooting at a west Phoenix house party on Friday night, authorities said.

Officers were called to a home in the area of 103rd Avenue and Broadway Road around 10:30 p.m. for the shooting, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Witnesses told police that two groups began exchanging gunfire as the party was ending.

The man was struck and brought to a hospital before being transferred with life-threatening injuries. As of around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, he was listed in critical but stable condition, police said.

No suspects have been arrested yet.
