Man loses arm in accident at Phoenix gravel facility

PHOENIX — A man lost his arm in an accident at a sand, rock and gravel business Monday morning.

A spokesman for the Phoenix Fire Department said the unidentified man had become trapped in a conveyor at the site near Southern and 69th avenues.

The man was taken to a local hospital.

No other details were immediately available.
